Our Story

We believe that necessity is the mother of invention.

After countless years of getting dressed and putting on nice shirts, we were frustrated with always forgetting our collar stays when traveling for business or just going out of the house with a nice shirt on.  While we found a handful of products that helped organize our collar stays at home, we came up with the only solution for the common but frustrating problem of leaving your house and forgetting them.   As serial entrepreneurs, we addressed the problem and created a cool, neat, and easy to use product to make sure this never happened to us again.

We invented and filed for patents on the CollarCard – a credit card sized plastic card containing four “pop out” reusable collar stays.  Innovative and useful, CollarCards fit into every wallet and eliminate the common experience of being without collar stays when you need them the most.  This is the perfect product for the traveling businessman, the contemporary man, or any man on the go.

After initially making several hundred CollarCards and giving them to friends, we received universally positive and very enthusiastic comments from everybody who saw them.  Our friends wanted to buy them, and after selling every card we had produced we made CollarCards available for everybody.
